Business Update: Adlabs Films Highlights & Growth Outlook - July 2009

In July 2009, Adlabs Films reported a turnover of Rs. 105 Crores despite a negative EBIDTA of Rs. 9 Crores. A long-standing distributor-exhibitor dispute was resolved, and 28 exhibition screens were added, bringing the total to 457. Notable achievements include the launch of a branded multiplex in Chicago and India's first IMAX Flat 3D screen. The company is also expanding into Europe through a partnership with Pathé Netherlands. A strong film lineup for the upcoming year, alongside growing box office numbers, signals positive momentum.

Highlights • Turnover from operations : Rs. 105 Crores; Negative EBIDTA from Operations : Rs. 9 Crores • Long standing distributor exhibitor dispute got resolved in June • Added 28 exhibition screens across the world, current footprint of 457 screens • The first branded multiplex launched in US - Big Cinemas Golf Glen in Chicago • First IMAX Flat 3D Screen launched in the Country • Foray into European market by partnering with Pathé Netherlands • Completed the initial phase of the Apollo Moon Mission project for NASA • Launch of film camera rental, Adlabs becomes India’s largest equipment rental provider 2

Outlook from July onwards • Box office grows by 100% in July over average of last 6 months • Impressive line up of films for the year including Love Aaj kaal, Kaaminey, Whats your Rashee, Kites, Blue, London Dreams, Qurbaan, 3 idiots among others • DI lab: Signed up high profile films - Dharma Productions Qurbaan & Film Krafts Kites, Ashutosh Govarikars ‘Whats Your Rashee’ & Kamal Haasans Onnaipol Oruvam – Eenadu • Equipment Rental : • Films being serviced - Vipul Shahs London Dreams, Ashutosh Govarikars Whats your Rashee & Mani Ratnams Raavana • Shows being serviced - Rakhi ka swayamwar, Sach ka Saamna, Indias Got Talent, Dus Ka dum, Stunt mania, among others • Lowry has created tools & software development for conversion of SD to HD which will be significant value add in suite of offerings • Such ka Saamna has topped the TRPs for non fiction category with TRP of 4.6 • Shows currently on air include Dus Ka Dum – 2 with Sony; Indias Got Talent with Colors; Sach Ka Saamna,Aap Ki Kachehari & Khelo Jito Jiyo with Star Plus • Project under implementation - Media BPO & Film City Studio on track 3
