  2. Workers' compensation is a form of insurance providing wage replacement and medical benefits to employees injured in the course of employment in exchange for mandatory relinquishment of the employee's right to sue his or her employer for the tort of negligence. Workers Compensation

  3. What to do in the event you get hurt at work ? • Immediately get first aid for any injuries. Call 911 if the injury is serious or life threatening. • File an incident report with your employer. It is always best to file the report in writing. Keep a copy for your records.
