  1. Extracting Videos from YouTube

    Slides 2-9 will need to be done from home.
  2. Search for the video you need, find the URL for that video, and copy it.
  3. Go to www.zamzar.com
  4. Click “Download Videos”.
  5. Paste URL into opening.(“http://” is already in the window so you may want to delete that before pasting as it will show up twice.
  6. Choose format, “wmv” usually works well for PCs.
  7. Fill in email address and click “convert”.
  8. A message comes up; click “ok”.
  9. It may take a little time, but eventually you should see “File upload complete”.
  10. Now open your email and you should have a message from Zamzar. This email may come right away or could take up to an hour depending on size and Zamzar use.
  11. Click on link to download.
  12. Click “Download Now”.
  13. Click “Save”, rename and choose location to save.

  14. Finished

    You now have the actual video file on your computer.
