ABOUTCERTIFIEDNURSING ASSISTANT A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, helps patients or aged people with all health care requirements under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The main role of certified nursing assistant's (CNA) is to provide basic care to patients in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing etc.

  3. CERTIFIEDNURSING ASSISTANT TRAININGPROGRAMINCLUDES The Certified Nursing Assistant training course includes the following topics. These are- Effective communication techniques 01 Obtaining accurate vital signs 02 Activities of daily living 03 Rehabilitation and restorative care skills 04

  4. RESPONSIBILITIESOFCERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT The CNAs take vital signs such as blood pressure, body temperature, pulse rate and respiration rate, making the bed, serving meals providing skin care to patients, answering patients’ call lights, helping patients to eat, dress, & bath etc.

  5. CAREEROPTIONS CNAs often work in various opportunities where one can work. Some of the places where CNA can work are- Nursing homes Hospitals Adult day care centers Personal homes Assisted living departments
