  1. Smoke Indications Two types of smoke usually escape from front as well as back of the car. The oil that escapes from its intended passageways within the engine burns along with the fuel causing blue smoke. You can overcome this by adding engine oil to the crankcase. Water condensation when mixes with fuel supply causes white smoke. You can overcome this by adding coolant or antifreeze to your car's cooling system. This will prevent your car from getting overheated.
