  1. Shortages of Truck Technicians and Certified Maintenance Professionals Many people are aware that there is a lack of auto technicians since they have to wait for their vehicles to be serviced. Everyone in the automotive industry is well aware of the issues this is causing. There are shortages in aviation, heavy equipment, and truck maintenance, in addition to auto maintenance. There are some severe difficulties to address on the truck side of the equation, one of which is the challenge of having skilled technicians for all of these new vehicles, which include Hybrid Trucks and the upcoming Fuel Cell semi-trucks. Technicians will need to be certified in the new technology, but most shops cannot afford to send them to more specialised institutions. Not the expense; the issue is that they need them in the shop working on customer equipment, and there is a severe and growing scarcity of competent truck technicians. It will continue to be difficult and will deteriorate with time. The Trucking Industry appears to be in the grip of a labour shortage issue, and the shortage of drivers is only one aspect of it. The way trucks are repaired and maintained will have to alter due to a shortage of qualified, certified, and trained Diesel truck mechanic and technicians, as well as the increasing complexity of the equipment itself, and therefore the number of training hours required to qualify a master truck mechanic. Artificial Intelligent Assistants will also guide the technician through his work and understand the operation and procedures for the task at hand.
