  1. Easing the transition into childcare The morning you send your child off to day care is one infused with emotions. Not only is it a turning stone for children, but also for parents. Toddlers starting child care in N3 Cidco are sensitive to their parent’s emotions and attitudes and often mimic them, therefore it is important for parents to recognize their own feelings and keep them in check. Before the first day Preparing your child for their first day will aid in curbing the anxiety. Familiarizing your child with the staff, surroundings and other students will allow them to explore the environment and become familiar with it. Preparation is key Make sure to talk your child through what to expect; answer any questions your child may have in order to reassure them. Involving your child in the preparation for day care- packing a bag, picking out an outfit, selecting a toy to take along, will build up the excitement and your child will look forward to their first day at daycare in N3 Cidco. In addition, if optional enroll in a mother-toddler program at the Playschool in N3 Cidco. On the first day Accompany your child to day care in N3 Cidco for the first couple of days. Allow ample of time for your child to familiarize themselves with their new surroundings. Even if your child seems comfortable and settled in, don’t leave without saying goodbye. Sneaking away will create anxiety about future drop-offs and your child may become resistant about going back. The transition into day care may take some time and it’s important for parents to accept this. After the first day At the end of the day make sure to arrive on time to pick up your child. It’s comforting for your child to know that you’ll always be there at the end of the day. The transition from daycare to home is equally important. Ensure your child has something to look forward to at home, such as a new book, play date or grandparents visit. Starting a going- home routine will enable you to learn about your child’s day. Take a walk through the classroom with your child, have them show you what they did or made in class.

  2. Most importantly, make sure to validate your child’s feelings. Let them know that it is okay to be anxious and nervous, provide reassurance along the way. The first day of child care is emotional and trying for children as well as parents, but through a thorough examination process involving research and examination into the facility, care givers and communication parents can provide the best possible child care for their toddlers at the preschool in N3 Cidco.
