  2. Assure Model • Analyze Learners • State Objectives • Select Methods, Materials, Media • Utilize Materials • Require Learner Participation • Evaluate and Revise

  3. Analyze Learners • 3rd grade • Classroom size: 10 boys and 8 girls • Zero students with disabilities • Students are mainly middle class • I will thoroughly analyze the students by giving a pre-test so I could determine their prior knowledge of the content

  4. State Objectives • Students will learn how to multiply by 4 and 5 in order to increase their knowledge of the times tables by gaining instruction from the teacher and having access to media based technology.

  5. Select Materials, Methods, Media • A short lecture from the instructor using technology will be used as an educational tool. • Collaboration between students such as small discussion groups will be used as another educational tool. • Pictures, videos, and audios will also be used.

  7. Require Learner Participation • Every student will have to solve a problem when in their small discussion group. Also, students will use a media based tool to gain a better understanding of the lesson.

  8. Evaluate and Revise • Students will have to take an assessment in order to see what they have learned. • Afterwards, a detailed evaluation will be completed in order to see what can be improved.
