  2. Doing Business With INDOT as a Consultant • Things to be aware of: • It is not a low-bid environment but is qualifications-based. • With few exceptions, which are listed on the Prequalification page, all consultants providing services to INDOT must be prequalified. This is also qualification-based, not monetary. • You must be registered in the Professional Services Contracting System (PSCS) as all Letters of Interest (LOI)s must be submitted through that system, as well as the prequalification application. • Therefore, be certain you are registered in PSCS and properly prequalified before attempting to submit a bid on a project.

  3. How to Find INDOT Opportunities • Go to: http://www.in.gov/indot/ • Select the “Doing Business with INDOT” tab.

  4. How to Access the RFPs • Select “Proposals and Contracts”

  5. How to Access the RFPs • Select “INDOT RFPs” • Note: You may also select “LPA RFP Currently Advertised” if you would like to view LPA projects.

  6. Current RFPs and Market Research • The first link is to the 12 month RFP. This lists approximately the next 12 months worth of projects, with documents and listing dates. This is a “tentative” list and is subject to change. • The second link is to the RFPs currently listed. • The third link accesses INDOT RFPs going back to 2007. This allows you to see what primes are awarded what types of contracts and the team make up so you can more effectively target your marketing efforts.

  7. 12 Month RFP • Find out more specific details by clicking on the “Item ID”. • Scope of work details may be found by clicking on the magnifying glass icon. • Questions may be asked by clicking on any of the yellow mail icons.

  8. RFP Archive • The archive allows years of market research. • Select the year in the drop-down box. • The “Selection Notice” shows the firms selected and their team of sub-consultants. • Under “Item Details” you can find the supporting documents, individual LOIs, the scoresheets, and bid tabulations.
