What?? • Build a tutoring network for younger students • Design a videogame map • Start a business selling accessories • Launch a web-design start-up for a local business • Write a graphic novel • Make a stop-motion animated movie • Write a backpacking guide • Interview senior citizens and document their history • Record and produce a full-length album

How? • Alone or in a group • Compromise • Total responsibility • Something new • Must produce a product • Write a proposal and “pitch” it • Choose an adult mentor for guidance • Reflect each week on the process • If overwhelmed, meet with me • End of year, 5-minute TED-style talk • Failure is an option. Mistakes become lessons.
