  27. Academic Committee Mission: The primary forum for the academic community within CII to provide its expertise in both research methodology and subject matter to the institute. Duties include: • identifying subject matter experts • providing input to the research process • identifying and grooming new academics to serve as CII researchers • integrating CII research and products into the university curriculums • offering insights for new directions for CII

Critical Interfaces • Academic and Research Committee To improve the quality of CII academic research • Academic and CII Standing Committees/ COPs: To increase the participation of the academic community within CII • Academic Committee and CII Staff Staff/logistic support for meetings, webinars and and poster sessions.

AC Membership Membership in the Academic Committee will consist of (at minimum), • academics engaged by CII to conduct research • academics engaged by CII to conduct educational & professional development activities • and those that serve on CII standing committees All academics seeking membership on the AC will apply to CII and upon completion & approval of the application, receive an appointment for 3 years with commitment to subcommittee work.

  31. Academic Committee Leadership Leadership of the Academic Committee shall consist of a chairperson and vice-chairperson. The leadership shall be selected from the AC membership and shall serve two year terms.

Performance Assessment Committee Mission • To define key EPC elements and performance metrics and process to collect and correlate them with related project practices • Guide CII in providing member companies with performance measures and industry trends on key elements of the EPC process • Assist member companies in assessing their performance against the collective data and helping them identify Best Practices and other opportunities to improve capital effectiveness • Provide quantitative feedback to help CII guide its research, implementation, and other activities.

  36. Implementation Strategy Committee Mission & Vision ISC Mission: • Engage members to implement CII practices. Promote participation in activities and utilization of knowledge to implement work practices and manage change. Strategic Communications Committee • The Strategic Communications Committee was sanctioned by the Executive Committee to improve CII’s overall communications and value messaging to its membership and to the industry, which has both an internal and external focus. • The purpose of the committee is to: • support the vision and mission of CII through communications • improve the quality, consistency, and alignment of core process and standing committee communications to better deliver CII’s value proposition • maintain and promote CII’s brand and industry leadership • maximize communication channels to expand CII’s audience and membership
