  2. CCS Uninstallation – Overview The aim of this guide is to help CCS system administrators to uninstall the package manually. An uninstallation wizard is currently being developed to improve this process. Note that these uninstallation steps will not remove any ‘local’ settings. Thus some settings will be remembered when CCS is reinstalled into the machine. For a completely fresh installation, it is recommended to reformat the disk and reinstall Windows.

  3. Step 1 – Stop Services Step 1A Use Windows’ Administrative Tools – Services to stop all CCS related services: • CCS Desk Server • CCS Desk PBX Server • CCS Desk HMP Gateway • CCS Desk HMP Service • CCS Desk Email Server • CCS Desk Web Gateway • CCS Desk Gateway • CCS Desk Lookup Engine • CCS Recording Server • CCS Twitter Callback • CCSIVR Server • CCS Report Engine • ReportSchedulerSvc • Dashboard Service • SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)

  4. Step 1 – Stop Services Step 1B Use Dialogic HMP – Dialogic Configuration Manager to stop the HMP service.

Step 2 – Remove Programs Step 2A Use Windows’ Programs and Features to uninstall the following CCS related applications: • CCS Chat WebServer • CCS Desk • CCS Twitter Callback • CCS IVR • CCS Report Web • CCSReport • CCSDashboard • CCSDashboardGateway • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 • Dialogic HMP • Reboot when finished.

Step 2 – Remove Programs Step 2B It is optional to uninstall the following applications as they are external applications to CCS, but utilized by the CCS system. • Sense • Sense Calls • Sense Server • VoIP Recording • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (must first stop the service ‘SQL Server (SENSE)’ • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Extended • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Client • Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extension 1.0 • Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2008 • Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Web Server • Windows 7: must use ‘Turn Windows Features on or off’ to uninstall • Windows 2008 Server: must use ‘Server Roles’ to uninstall • PBX TSP driver

  7. Step 3 – Remove Program Files After programs uninstallation, delete the following directories from Program Files to remove leftover files. Assuming C drive on 32bit OS: C:\Program Files\CCS\ C:\Program Files\Dialogic\ C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL
