Political Activity by AF Personnel • AF personnel are subject to rules on political activity. • The rules for military personnel are in DoD Directive 1344.10, dated 19 Feb 08. • Civilian employees are governed by the Hatch Act (5 USC 7321-7326) and the Hatch Act regulation (5 CFR Part 734). • Materials on the Hatch Act are on the Office of Special Counsel website at: www.osc.gov/ha_fed.htm • Your servicing JA office can answer questions.
