Watershed Inspection Program • Enforcement of the: • Rules and Regulations for the Protection from Contamination of the Public Water Supply of the Villages of Avon and Geneseo and the Livingston County Water Districts in the Towns of Livonia and Conesus, Livingston County New York • …shall make regular and thorough inspections of the lake, watercourses, and watersheds tributary thereto for the purpose of ascertaining whether the rules and regulations are being complied with.

  10. What We Do • Through surveillance and complaints, we respond to: concerns, issues, weeds, algae, dead fish, odors, chemical and petroleum spills, discharges, etc. • Attempt to resolve issues that may impact the lake. • Present public education programs at schools, health fairs, festivals, board meetings, etc. • Work with many other agencies to address complaints, issues, spills, etc.
