In August 2007, the Orlando Science Center presented to the Orange County Board of Commissioners with a goal to create enriching math and science experiences for children. Last year, nearly 200,000 Orange County residents interacted with the center, serving over 30,000 K-12 students. A strong educational partner The Science Center serves nearly twice the U.S. average of K-12 students each year. Over 30,000 OCPS students came this year—more than 1 of every 6 students in public schools in the County.
