Bulgaria participates along with 5 other countries in the extension of HeERO project – HeERO 2 • This project provides the opportunity for the preparation of: • The 112 Centre to receive and process eCallcalls • Cellular operators to transmit eCall calls through their networks eCall – MoI Priority
Bulgaria has the necessary organizational and R&D capacity to achieve substantial results in the course of eCall introduction • Capability for integration with additional services – GPS ambulance navigation, traffic intensity information, etc. • Using a Bulgarian eCall device at an optimized price up to €50 eCall in the struggle for traffic safety
