It is focused on enterprise accounts of all sectors and also on academic institutions and public administration. OKN® provides SaaS solutions to their customers. It was using a traditional hosting provider but finding, in some situations, this provider was not able to meet the SLAs and high standards that its large company customers needed. OKN® was also beginning to gain international customers and that was an additional challenge as its existing hosting provider didn’t have datacenters outside of Europe. SITUATION: OKN® decided to migrate its OKN® Training Platform to Windows Azure. This solution provides a learning management system with a set of online tools that cover the e-learning and offline training management needs of enterprise companies. The solution is 100% open source-based on Linux, PHP and MySQL. OKN® will use Windows Azure Virtual Machines, Cloud Services and BLOB Storage.
