2. Intro of Magic Magic was born in the year of 1955. He was born in Lansing Michigan and also played basketball at the Michigan State University. He was married in 1979 to Earlitha "Cookie" Kelly. Magic Johnson has 3 kids Harry Houdini Johnson Criss Angel Johnson David Blaine Johnson.

3. Social Contribution Magic was a great NBA player, but he was also something else.He was an inspiration for not only basketball players and young fans, but for the U.S.A. He played basketball for 13 years. Then he got A.I.D.S. Even though he got this disastrous disease he still kept playing. He has fought long and to this day is living with A.I.D.S. that shows what determination, drive, and the will to live can do.

7. Childhood Since he was a young child, magic loved basketball. His family was poor and basketball was all he had. His life was very hard as a young child. He went through many struggles like having no father and always moving throughout Lansing Michigan. Every day he would go outside and shoot hoops.. He had no toys or a bike. He had only a basketball and a public hoop.

8. ADOLESENCE When Magic was a teen he lived for basketball and his life started to get better. As he went to high school he met new friends and made the basketball team. His basketball team went all the way to the championship and got Magic a full scholarship to Michigan State University . Then in college he won another championship.

9. ADULTHOOD Magic went to college for four years then got Drafted to the Nba. In Magic's first year he wOn the NBA championship. that almost never happens!! After playing 13 years of basketball magic got A.I.D.S., this stuns him. He goes three more years and retires. Thanks to medicine and money he is still alive to day.
