VISTA sponsors will be assigned a Portfolio Manager located in a regional office REGIONAL ADMINISTRATOR / CHIEF IMPACT OFFICER DEPUTY REGIONAL ADMINISTRATOR • Each SPM team will oversee all state commission, national direct, VISTA, and Senior Corps awards in a state SR.   4. Transition date to your Portfolio Manager will be based on your location • Mountain, North Central, Northeast regions – October 2019 transition • West, Midwest, Southeast regions – March 2020 transition • South Central, Mid-Atlantic regions – June 2020 transition 4

Next steps for sponsors in the Mountain, North Central, and Northeast regions Region leadership The Regional Administrator and Deputy Regional Administrator for each region have already begun their new positions. They are putting the finishing touches on building out their teams. Grantees and sponsors can expect to receive an introductory email from them in September. 5

Next steps for Mountain, North Central, and Northeast regions Staffing Senior Portfolio Managers, who will serve as supervisors in the regions, will begin their new positions and help open our new offices on September 16. Portfolio Managers will start on September 30. If your existing Program Officer and/or Grant Officer (if applicable) is transitioning to one of these new positions, we will notify you ahead of September 16 about who to contact for day-to-day questions with your project during the interim. Transition date Hand-off from your assigned Program Officer and Grants Officer (if applicable) to your newly assigned Portfolio Manager will take place the week of October 28. 6

Next steps for Mountain, North Central, and Northeast regions Training All regional office staff – whether experienced CNCS staff or newly hired staff – will participate in CNCS’s new onboarding/training curriculum over their first three months. The curriculum is designed to ensure staff are trained in a consistent manner on the fundamentals of national service and managing federal awards. What to do now Until you are notified, please continue to work with your currently-assigned Program Officer and Grants Officer (if applicable). 7
