About Us The BWFP College, Career, and Goal Achievement Program serves public high school students seeking to maximize and realize their potential.  Programming begins for students in their freshman year of high school and continues through high school graduation. We work with students via weekly sessions, providing mentoring and programming through their senior year.  The first year culminates with a solid "High School to College Road Map" that is then implemented and enacted throughout the balance of their high school years.  Mentors are also assigned in the student's freshman year.

Our Mission • To teach at-risk youth how to be successful students, successful adults. • Our Goals • Decrease high school dropout rates / increase graduation rates • Increase the number of at-risk students attending & completing college, with a purpose • Encourage BWFP program participants & college graduates to return to help revitalize their communities

Working primarily in an afterschool setting • The Road Map includes: • How to set & accomplish meaningful goals • Identifying interests / potential career interests • Understanding college entry requirements • Developing Leadership & Life Skills • Exploring Civic Engagement • Identifying where to get help when needed

Summary The BWFP Spring Celebration is an annual event to benefit the BWFP, beginning on May 24, 2012 We will reach out to celebrities, musicians, comedians, and film and TV stars to attend, support and endorse. Sponsors will receive massive media exposure throughout the campaign through online ads, social media, contests, mobile platform, tweets, meetups and at the event itself. Content will be fully integrated with web, social media, mobile platforms to share sponsor messages and generate donations. 100% of donations will go to the BWFP.
