  12. A Quick Review: What is modesty? • Modesty – “Respectable manner of adorning one’s body and carrying oneself, born out of a freedom from a worldly definition of beauty and worth, motivated by a hatred of sin and a desire to draw attention to God.”

  18. Striking the balance… • Modest fashions are out there. You are just going to have to look and hold to your standards that God gives you. • Does this outfit make God or Christianity look good?

  19. Tricks that can make all the difference: • Tank tops/camis/ cami extender • Long and loose tunics • Slip extenders • Sweater jackets, shrugs, denim jackets • Key words in internet searches – modest, knee length, long etc.

  20. When you walk into a room, what is noticed first? Avoid Look for To the top of the knee or longer skirts, watch out for slits. Looser fitting and long tunics when wearing leggings or pencil skirts. Necklines that cause a person to look at your face, not your chest. Looser and longer shorts. • Tight • Short • Revealing • Too much skin • Sexy, alluring • One body part being too accentuated.
