  1. PADI INSTRUCTOR CROSSOVER COURSE Which PADI Course is for Instructor Crossover Candidates? As an established Instructor we recognize that you already have significant teaching experience and adapting this to the PADI system of education should be an interesting and enjoyable experience. The PADI IDC is made up of 2 distinct components; the Assistant Instructor (AI) Course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. What will a Crossover Candidate learn during the course? The OWSI itself is designed as a way to introduce you to PADI’s approach to teaching. We will review the standards, sequencing and teaching techniques of each program that you will be able to teach as well as run evaluation training in the classroom, confined water and open water. We know that you know how to teach diving so we prefer to see the crossover as a way to get to know the PADI system better. WWW.GILIIDC.COM
