  3. The PIE AGENDA...........the begining 3 main Priorities of the Government... Production • To evolve a strategy to develop large scale mechanized farming and industry in Edo state. Infrastructure • Emphasis will be placed on roads, water and power. Within three months of coming into office, there will be complete stocktaking of the state of roads, water and power infrastructure to determine the scope and pace of the restoration agenda Education • Affordable and accessible education is the key to development. Communities will be encouraged to co-invest in education and co-manage secondary schools within the state while also improve the standards of teaching and learning in the higher school system.

  8. TARGET TRAJECTORY FOR GROWTH IN IGR The following growth pattern assumes that the current level of revenues from Federal Allocation (FAAC) is maintained at the 2008 budget figures.

  9. IMPLIED GROWTH IN IGR –By category (source) ASSUMPTION: To achieve a 70% contribution from IGR to the state’s purse, IGR must grow at a compounded annual rate of 110.5% across all sources of IGR.
