The WESTAR Spring Business Meeting took place on May 22-23, 2013, in San Francisco, CA, co-chaired by Clint Bowman and Phil Allen. This meeting reviewed past six months' activities, including discussions on WEB-based air quality data, notable state peak rates, the potential of MesoWest as a regional data aggregator, and coordination on wildfire and exceptional events information. Additionally, training workshops and studies highlighted various air quality modeling challenges and regulations affecting the region. Looking ahead, emphasis will be placed on evolving PM2.5 guidance and continued inter-state collaboration.
