  4. County Level • Teen Leaders • Intermediate 13-14 • Advanced 15+ • Turn in Journal, Application, Recommendation Letter, Interview • Conduct Camps • County Council • Conduct Officer Training • Preside at County Activities • Serve on Planning Committees • Quorum Court Reception

State Level - Camps • Ages 5-8 • State Cloverbud Camp • July 5-6, 2013 • Ages 9-12 • State Camp • July 15-17, 2013 • Forestry & Wildlife Camp - Sept • Basic Entrepreneur Camp – Feb 22-23 • Ages 13-15 • Adventure & Challenge Camp – July 15-17 • Advanced Entrepreneur Camp – Feb 22-23 • High Adventure - August

  6. State Level - Camps • Teen Leader Conference • 14+ • Held in June • Camp Counselor • Ages 14+ • Basic Camp Leadership Workshop • Advanced Camp Leadership Workshop

  7. State Level - Leadership • Teen Star • 15-18 with at least 2 years in 4-H • Leadership ability, high goals, outstanding achievements, positive attitude, ability to work with others, and interest in 4-H program • Applications in January • Recognized at a Formal Banquet during TLC

  8. State Level - Leadership • Ambassador • Ages 15+ & Must be named a teen star • Apply in January & Give a 4-H Promotion Speech & Interview at TLC • Spokesperson for Arkansas 4-H • Assist with Planning & Conducting TLC • Attend Ambassador Workshop in February • Assist with County Programs as requested • Speakers, Workshops, Activity Judges, etc. • Must re-certify every year.

  9. State Level - Leadership • State Officer • Must be a current ambassador • Preside at State Activities • Represent Arkansas 4-H at various PR functions

  10. State Level - Awards • Hall of Fame • Governors Award • Must be a State Record book Winner • Scholarships • Teen Star & Ambassador

  11. National Trips • Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) • Age 15+ • 7 Days in Washington DC • Kansas City Global Summit • March; Age 15+ • Career Awareness • National 4-H Conference • National 4-H Congress • All State Journal winners must attend to receive scholarships.

  12. How can you help? • Encourage members to apply! • Sit down with 4-H’er and set goals for their 4-H career • Follow up & Be prepared to write Recommendation Letters
