Students of biotechnology engineering colleges in Mumbai are not restricted to only the medical field but can also find opportunities in other allied sectors as well. Some of the common options for graduates in this field are: 1.Pursue post graduation: A higher education will improve your chances of gaining a suitable job in both the private and government sectors. But pursue this degree only from a well- recognized university in India or abroad. 2.Work for a scientist: This provides not only hands-on experience in laboratory skills but also provides a job certificate which is useful to gain better employment. Contacts made by working with a well- known scientist in the field of biotechnology can also boost your career. 3.Private sector jobs: Many high salaried posts are available in various industries and sectors including in the pharmaceutical, chemical, bioprocessing, cosmetics, agriculture, healthcare, biological, and many others. 4.Become an entrepreneur: If you have original ideas and proper funding, then the sky's the limit if you open up your own company.
