  1. Are Electronic Signatures Authentic? Are Electronic Signatures Authentic? The electronic documents include signing on files, documents, and contracts are becoming the norm in business. Surprisingly, the authenticity of electronic documents is assumed. The truth is that electronic documents can be changed without detection. To help prevent fraud, digital signatures, conforming to the X.509 standard, are accepted in the EU as to establish legal validity. The standard makes it immediately evident if the documents have be changed. Many countries have different requirements as to how they have to sign documents. Countries in Central Europe have laws based more on defining specific technical regulations and the ones signing them need to comply with them. Speaking from a wider perspective the pan-European regulations require yet another set of requirements to determine what types of digital signatures are used to legally establish legal authenticity. The Directive identifies three forms of electronic signature with increasingly stringent requirements: electronic signature, advanced electronic signature and qualified electronic signature. The basic electronic signature where there is a need for authentication but there are no legal requirements related to assurance. Advanced digital signatures that add additional requirements for verification but, again do not have any requirements for assurance. Qualified digital signatures require signing keys and certification that assures the validity of the signature. Considered as the most advanced signature verification systems this solution employs a powerful combination of engines by using different approaches for comprehensive signature verification. In the UK, any form of digital signature is adequate in most situations. Countries such as Germany and Italy, require qualified signatures for most communications. And these countries go a step further and add more technical specifications required for authenticate a digital signature All these engines analyze the respective biometric characteristics such as speed, acceleration, stroke sequencing, deceleration, and timing information received directly during the signing process together with other innovative technology that scrutinizes signature shape. Across the Europe, and different countries had adopted different approaches. So finally, the results received from different methods of analysis are combined to provide a reliable measure of the likelihood of coincidence between the signature in question and genuine reference signature. The success of dynamic signature verification in such systems relies on analysis of graphical representation of a signature and biometric characteristics received during the process of signing. Using these e- signatures have lead to a dramatic performance improvement and gives a substantial robustness to your business.
