WHERE IS KONYA?. KONYA. KONYA. IT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF ANATOLIA AND HAS GOT MANY HISTORICAL PLACES SUCH AS MEVLANA MUSEUM. KONYA IS FAMOUS WITH ITS MEVLANA. MEVLANA JELALEDDIN RUMI IS AN OUTSTANDING SCHOLAR AND A PHILOSOPHER WHO HAS BEEN INFLUENCING THE WHOLE WORLD FOR CENTURIES.

  2. KONYA IT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF ANATOLIA AND HAS GOT MANY HISTORICAL PLACES SUCH AS MEVLANA MUSEUM. KONYA IS FAMOUS WITH ITS MEVLANA. MEVLANA JELALEDDIN RUMI IS AN OUTSTANDING SCHOLAR AND A PHILOSOPHER WHO HAS BEEN INFLUENCING THE WHOLE WORLD FOR CENTURIES.

  3. He is very much known as whirling dervish in all over the world. 2007 was announced as Mevlana year by the UNESCO.

  4. WHERE ARE WE?OUR TOWN (Hüyük) IS LOCATED IN THE WEST MIDDLE ANOTOLIA.IT IS IN KONYA…

  5. Hüyük is a small district in Konya city of Türkiye. Hüyük Halk Eğitimi Merkezi is a public education centre in Hüyük which is a non-profit and govermental institution.

  6. HÜYÜK HALK EĞİTİMİ MERKEZİ

  7. There are about 49 courses in our institution most of which are on school classes, English, Maths, Turkish, ICT, needling, reading –writing, pharmacy, hunting, sports and karate etc.. • The courses are held not only in our institution’s building but also in different schools or institutions.

  8. We also organize seminars on European Union projects, health, farming, animal feeding, traffic, environment, protecting youth from bad habits, nursing etc.

  10. In our institution two projects have been accepted this year; one of them is our LDV project ‘’Coach in VET’’ and the other one is Grundtvig project named ‘’Europe Needs Active Seniors’’.

  11. In our Grundtvig project we have partners from Poland, Portugal, Estonia, Spain, Greece and Italy.

  14. It may come to you a little bit superstitious but evil eye is a very old belief in our culture.

  15. ONE POINT IN OUR EDUCATION IN OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM WE EMPHASIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR ANCESTORS WHO FIGHTED IN OUR FREEDOM WAR AND OUR GREAT LEADER MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK WAS THE FOUNDER AND THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE TURKISH REPUBLIC. HE WAS BORN IN 1982 IN SELANIK. HE WAS A SOLDIER OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE WHEN HE GAVE UP HIS JOB AND LEFT ISTANBUL ON 16 th OF MAY AND BEGAN THE STRUGGLE FOR INDEPENDENCE
