  4. We wear the mask • Known for dialect poems: • ‘Wadin' In De Crick’ ‘Speakin' At De Cou't-House’ ‘When A Feller's Itchin' To Be Spanked’ • Published in Lyrics of Lowly Life, 1896 • A LYRICAL poem.
