Understanding Verbs: Action, State of Being, and Helping Verbs

Learn about the 3 types of verbs: Action, State of Being, and Helping Verbs. Action verbs are things you can "do" but can't necessarily see. State of Being verbs indicate existence. Helping verbs assist main verbs; they can have "ing" endings and may be separated by "not." Identify helping verbs, including "am," "is," "are," and more. Discover how helping verbs differ from state-of-being verbs.
