Grossmont College Annual Technology Planning Process As a Part of the Annual Planning and Budget Cycle For New Technology* June - September April October January - March May - June DepartmentsConsult Learning & Technology Resources (LTR) Division Regarding New Technology Requests as a Part of Annual Program Updates and Action Plans (This Includes Perkins Requests) Technology Requests Submitted and Prioritized via Unit Action Plans and Activity Proposals Technology Activity Proposals Reviewed and Scored by Institutional Review Committee (IRC) Technology Activity Proposals Recommended for Funding by IRC Provided to TTLC for Review and Prioritization in Relation to Tech Plan Dean of LTR works with Unit on Prioritization and Resources Needed for Implementation and Develops Implementation Plan October - May July - August September June - September TTLC and PRC to Determine whether New Technology will be Included in the Campus Rollover Plan Going Forward or whether Units Will Need to Plan for Upgrades. Units Conduct Evaluation of New Technology and Report out to PRC on Status of Funded Technology Activities Implementation of Plans Begin and are Ongoing Implementation Plan Provided to Planning & Resources Council (PRC) for Review and Approval *Existing technology is addressed via the rollover plan.
