What can Tux Paint do? • Tux Paint is an easy to use drawing tool that not only has a paint brush but also includes stamps, lines, shapes, and text. • A parent or teacher can add magic tools to the Tux Paint program. • When students finish their picture, they can save and print their picture. • The tool was designed with young children in mind therefore the layout is simple and easy to use!

How can student use Tux Paint? • Tux Paint can be used for students to draw their ideas about a subject or topic. • Tux Paint can be used in all elementary grades from Pre-K to 5th. • Tux Paint can be used in all subjects - ELA – Draw a picture of the setting of the story. - Math – Use the shapes to make a shape robot. - Science – Draw a picture of a flower and two things it needs to grow. - Social Studies – Draw a picture showing how your family celebrates Independence Day.

  5. Tutorial Step 1: Open Tux Paint from desktop

  6. Step 2: Pick a tool and color and begin painting.

  7. Step 3: Draw!

  8. Step 4:To add text: click text, click where you want your writing to appear, begin typing.

  9. Step 5: When your picture is complete, you can save or print it. Save Print
