Introduction • Many of our classmates do not know what to play during blacktop recess. • First graders run in every direction. • Often they run into each other and get hurt. • Some run through games that others are trying to play. • This is a problem that we must solve before someone is seriously hurt. > Task > Process > Eval > Citations

Task • It is your mission to seek and find games that can be played SAFELY on our blacktop. • Not much equipment should be needed. • A small group of children should play it. • You must share the blacktop with others. • You will research a game, alone or with a partner, and teach the game using a poster, brochure, or book you have written. < Intro > Process > Eval > Citations

  4. Process Step 1 First you will research games that can be played during blacktop recess. Step 2 Next you will pick one of these games to teach a small group of your classmates. Step 3 Then you will create a poster, brochure or book explaining how to play the game. You will include the name of the game, the equipment needed, the rules and scoring.
