  3. Chaos in CD’s • How many CD’s or DVD’s do you have? • CD with mp3 files includes an average 150 files • DVDis six times bigger than an ordinary CD:6x 150 = 900 files • How to find the exact one?

  5. About“WhereIsIt?” It is a shareware program, designed to be the best media cataloging tool available on the shareware market today.

  6. What can it do? • stores all the data of your media - floppy disks, CD-ROMs, removable drives etc. • builds animage of media • powerful search to locate items • creates reports or browse disk content without that disk available

  8. How to make your own catalogue? • Set up the program • Insert CD into your CD-ROM • Press button „Add new disk“ • Wait for a few seconds • Repeat it with all CD’s which you have -> In a few minutes you get a complete catalogue of your CD’s

  9. “What can I do with it?” • browse all CD’s content • sort in categories • create reports or notes • export your data to ASCII file, Excel table, HTML document or print on your printer • full text searching

  10. Launch the file • The program itself will say which CD is needed to insert into CD-ROM. • Then it automatically played the selected file.
