VERB? … WHAT IS A VERB?. A Verb is a word that shows action (physical or mental) or state of being. Physical action like smiling. …. or sleeping. mental action …. Like thinking …. … or imagine. Or a state of being …. (a state of existence). These state of being words are ALWAYS verbs.
