  4. Leadership Skills We live in a world governed by people skills and interpersonal skills. More so, leadership skills are rare to come by. Granted not everyone is born to be a leader, nevertheless, the essential skills required to become a leader can easily be inculcated especially at a young age. Leadership stems from the ability to work in a team, listening to others, communicating effectively, and having a commanding personality. However, leadership skills can be easily inculcated in children by teaching them how to communicate effectively and listening to opinions. This requires a ton of patience, which children often lack. Therefore, to inculcate leadership skills, children must be given small tasks or responsibilities by which they will learn accountability, honesty and good behaviour.
