  2. What is Assisted Hatching? Assisted hatching is an advanced scientific technique that involves using a laser to gently thin the outer shell of the egg (called the zona). In some cases, particularly in older women, it is thought that the thickness of the outer shell (zona) can impede implantation. If the embryo can ‘hatch’ out of the shell more easily, it may have a better chance of implanting inside the uterus.

  3. What is the process of Laser Hatching? • Using an exactness optical device, a gap is formed within the zonapellucida to weaken the wall of the embryo. The gap created by optical device hatching helps the embryo hatch from the zonapellucida  and implant properly. • The embryo is positioned below the magnifier. This can be a 4-cell Grade embryo; and you'll be able to see it zone (shell) clearly. • The optical device is employed to form a gap at three o’clock. This can be a non-contact optical device, which implies the embryo isn't touched in the least.
