  3. Levels of CONVERSATION… 0 = Silent! No talking 1 = Whisper 2 = Conversation with partner 3 = Teacher voice 4 = Outside voice

  4. Need HELP with a question? Write your question on a post-it. Put it in the corner of your desk. Raise your hand without talking. If you understand, give me a thumbs-up! If you do notunderstand, give me a thumbs-down!

Independent Reading – read your own book CHAMPs Stay in your spot –go to the bathroom, get a drink only if necessary Looking at the book. Readingyour book quietly. Using yourstrategies and tools. Completing your reading log. SUCCESS for EVERYONE!

  15. Behavior In the Restroom Level 1 = Whisper to one person Conversation Help Activity Movement Participation Ask “1 or 2” to see if they can help you. Restroom duties and washing hands CHAMPs Be respectful of others and take care of your toileting needs quickly - walk - return to your class Take care of your toileting needs, clean up after yourself, wash your hands, and return to class SUCCESS for EVERYONE!

Hall Walking Behavior Level 0 = No talking Level 1 = Whisper to an adult Conversation Help Activity Movement Participation Raise your hand to ask the teacher or adult Walking from one place to another CHAMPs Walk in a straight line, keep a “just right” space between the person in front of you, keep your hands to yourself Watch conditions and be ready to stop. Follow the adult’s direction and stop where they request you stop. SUCCESS for EVERYONE!
