Our Action for Business Journey • Creation of a dedicated Business Unit with an Account Manager focus and strong links into curriculum areas • Better collection and use of LMI • CRMS used across the College • More employer feedback collected and used effectively • Targeted marketing • Investment in industry standard resources • Sales training for account managers • Employer friendly systems and procedures
Key partner in the Business Link brokerage scheme • Sharing good practice with other colleges • Revamping the advisory committees to make them more relevant to local employers • The production of an employer friendly business directory • The production of an employers charter
Creation of a strategy to monitor employer satisfaction at all stages of their journey with us • Job descriptions changed to include employer liaison • Employer engagement module for new staff • Secondments to industry for staff
