MODULE VIIProject ClosingObjectives In this module you will learn: Chapter 1 How to Close Out the Procurements Associated with a Project Chapter 2 How to Bring a Project or Phase to Formal Completion

MODULE VIIProject ClosingChapter 1 – Close Procurements Procurements are closed when all contracts have been completed or terminated. Note: A contract can be completed anytime during the duration of a project, not just at its end. Procurement Closure must happen before Full Project Closure.

MODULE VIIProject ClosingChapter 1 – Close Procurements Tasks in Performed in Closing Procurements Procurement Closing must include: Product / Service Verification Negotiated Settlement of Claims and Issues Financial Closure Formal Acceptance by Buyer to Seller/Vendor (i.e., signoff) Procurement Closing also includes: Physical Departure of Seller/Vendor and his/her Equipment Archival of Contract Documentation Update to Lessons Learned
