  2. Purpose • In the following situations, you can try to use new way to save time. • Option 1: The status of MD is “Open to Supplier”.The same substance is used in many Mfr. P/Ns within MD. Copy the values of substance within“Open to Supplier” MD. • Option 2: The status of MD is “Open to Supplier”. The same substance is used in another MD which status is “Release”. Copy the values of substance from“Release”MD to“Open to Supplier” MD.

  4. Option 1: Overview(1) Option 1: The status of MD is “Open to Supplier”.The same substance is used in many Mfr. P/Ns within MD. Copy the values of substance within“Open to Supplier” MD.

  6. Option 1: Overview(3) (1)Select source MD (ex.MD200806-1309) (2)Select source Mfr.Part (ex. AEQT6E0024) (3)Select destination Mfr.Part (ex. AEQT6J0024,AEQT6U0025) (4)The content of substance between source Mfr.Part (ex. AEQT6E0024) and destination Mfr.Part (ex. AEQT6J0024,AEQT6U0025) will be the same.

  7. Option 1: Pre-task(1) Pre-task: Make sure substance of source Mfr.part has been filled Pls select source MD

  8. Option 1: Pre-task(2) Source Mfr.part • There are three Mfr.parts on MD. • Please chooseone Mfr.part as source Mfr.part and fill in substance first

  9. Option 1: Pre-task(3) • The program “Save substance” will only copy three column “Contain”,”Concentration”,”Contain Location or Process”

  10. Option 1: Starting ”Save Substances” for MD(1-1) 1 Choose “Actions” 3 Another web page appears now.Please login it for “Save substances” 4 Please fill out PDM username & password.And then click “Submit” 2 Choose “Save Substances”

  11. Option 1: Starting ”Save Substances” for RCH MD(1-2) 1 Choose “Actions” 3 Another web page appears now.Please login it for “Save substances” 4 Please fill out PDM username & password.And then click “Submit” 2 Choose “Save Substances”

  12. Option 1: Starting ”Save Substances”(2) 5 Click button 6 Pls click icon

  13. Option 1:Source MD 1 Supplier code DAF Total MD number: 34 2 Choose MD number and then click “Submit”

  14. Option 1:Source Mfr.Part 1 You have choose MD200806-1309 as source MD. Pls choose source Mfr. Part. 2 Choose Mfr. Part and then click “Submit”

  15. Option 1:Destination Mfr.Part 1 Pls choose destination Mfr. Part. 2 You can choose “Select All” or choose Mfr. Part

  16. Option 1:Result The content of substance between source Mfr.Part (ex. AEQT6E0024) and destination Mfr.Part (ex.AEQT6J0024,AEQT6U0025) will be the same. The values of “Contain”, ”Concentration”, ”Contained Locations Or Process?” have been copy to Destination Mfr. Part.

  17. Option 1: Check data(1) Destination Mfr.part Return to system. You can click “View Substances” and check the result.

  18. Option 1: Check data(2) Destination Mfr.part Source Mfr.part The values of “Contain”, ”Concentration”, ”Contained Locations Or Process?” have been copy to Destination Mfr. Part.

  19. Option 2: Overview(1) • Option 2: The status of MD is “Open to Supplier”. The same substance is used in another MD which status is “Release”. • Copy the values of substance from “Release” MD to “Open to Supplier” MD.

  21. Option 2: Overview(3) (1)Select source MD (ex.MD200807-1511) (2)Select source Mfr.Part (ex. AEZG5Q0005) (3)Select destination MD(ex.MD200807-1266) (4)Select destination Mfr.Part (ex. AEFM6K0021,AEFM6K0022) (5)The content of substance between source Mfr.Part (ex. AEZG5Q0005) and destination Mfr.Part (ex. AEFM6K0021,AEFM6K0022) will be the same.

  22. Option 2: Pre-task(1) 1 Pls find one Release MD you have fill out. Make sure the substances of source Mfr. Part are equal to destination Mfr. Part 2 source MD source Mfr. Part

  23. Option 2: Pre-task(2) Pls choose one “Open to Supplier” MD as destination MD destination MD

  24. Option 2: Starting ”Save Substances” FOR MD(1-1) 1 Choose “Actions” 3 Another web page appears now.Please login it for “Save substances” Please fill out PDM username & password.And then click “Submit” 4 2 Choose “Save Substances”

  27. Option 2: Source MD 1 Supplier code DAF Total Release MD number: 459 2 Choose MD number and then click “Submit”

  28. Option 2: Source Mfr.Part 1 You have choose MD200807-1511 as source MD. Pls choose source Mfr. Part. 2 Choose Mfr. Part and then click “Submit”

  29. Option 2: Destination MD 1 Supplier code DAF Total MD number: 34 2 Choose MD number and then click “Submit”

  30. Option 2: Destination Mfr.Part 1 Pls choose destination Mfr. Part. 2 You can choose “Select All” or choose Mfr. Part

  31. Option 2:Result The content of substance between source Mfr.Part (ex. AEZG5Q0005) and destination Mfr.Part (ex.AEFM6K0021,AEFM6K0022) will be the same. The values of “Contain”, ”Concentration”, ”Contained Locations Or Process?” have been copy to Destination Mfr. Part.

  32. Option 2:Check data MD200807-1260 Destination Mfr.part MD200807-1511 Source Mfr.part The values of “Contain”, ”Concentration”, ”Contained Locations Or Process?” have been copy to Destination Mfr. Part.

  33. Error Message(1) 1 Pls select “Open to supplier ” MD which has more than two Mfr. parts 2 Pls fill in substance first

  34. Error Message(2) 3 Make sure the substances of source Mfr. Part are equal to destination Mfr. Part There are no substances was copied to destination Mfr. parts
