  1. Type of glasses for glass furniture In our previous article we were discussing about the type of glass furniture you can use in your interiors. We discussed about the different glasses like textured glass, Tinted glass, Spandrel glass, Reflective glass and satin glass, let us now see few more glasses that you can use for your interiors. Security glass: This glass can be toughened or laminated. Laminated glass is an engineered glass which holds its pieces together in an event of disaster and does not get shattered into million pieces. It is an ideal choice for coffee table of side table. These are also used in sensitive areas such as jewelry shops. This glass is so strong that it can withstand a bullet attack. It is a popular choice for table tops, since it does not get broken easily also it prevents cuts and injuries. Clear glass: It is the most common type of glass which can be seen in the interior spaces. It is a colorless glass which has blue or green colored edges. It is not as strong as laminated glass and only allows almost 80-90% of the visible light to pass through. It is used in multiple locations in the house for decorative purposes. This glass furniture is so easy to work with that you can craft anything from a door knob to a chandelier using this type of glass. It is ideal for making lamps and chandelier as it transmitted the light. It can also be molded into clear glass vessel like counter type wash basin. Acoustic Glass: As it name suggest this glass has an acoustic properties, which is a majorly used in high noise pollution areas.
