  1. This Guide is applied in service center when it receipts the phone for repair 1. Objects: 1) It is to do the LG genuine product authentication when connecting the production system 2) It is to check the Rooting & Boot Loader Unlock 2. Model Application: All Smartphone which is receipted in service center 3. Target : Cable Auto Authentication Rate 100%(It is excluded that it can not the cable auto authentication like No power case) 4. How to use: refer to the detail appendix 1) Cable Authentication (Auto) : This mean it reads the phone data automatically on condition that it is connected Phone and system (Manual) : This mean it enters the IMEI directly on the screen 2) Subsidiary: Mobile Authentication Flag should be selected to “Yes” on Sept 30TH 2013 - Path : GSFS > Set-up > Business Preference > SVC Center Option > Mobile Authentication “ Yes” 3) It possible to input the receipt data through “Read Phone by Cable” screen in case Mobile Authentication Flag be set “Yes” , impossibleto input on ”Service Result Entry” screen 5. Applied : From Oct 1st 2013 6. Future Plan 1) In case of Manual authentication it will be “Hold” when invoicing after monitoring(From Jan 1ST 2014) 2) It will check the authentication rate in subsidiary and LG headquarter from Oct 2013, and then Feed Backthe result 3) In case of Rooting/Boot Loader Unlock it will be handledout of warranty(It was already applied into GSFS system) ※Definition of Terms 1) ESN(Electronic Serial Number) / IMEI(International Mobile Equipment Identity) : unique identification number of phone 2) Software In Version : the current version name in the phone 3) Rooting / Unlock(Boot Loader Unlock) : This mean that it gets the manager's permission to operate the program after hacking the operating system of Android, and it is the illegal because it can cause some malfunction , so this is the out of warranty case Receipt Input Receipt Authentication (Auto/Manual) Repair &Input Return To Customer ROOTED
