  3. Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!"

  6. 1 Corinthians 12:15-16 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body?

  14. 1 Corinthians 9:7-8 Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk of the flock? Do I say these things as a mere man? Or does not the law say the same also?

  16. Galatians 6:6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.

  18. 2 Corinthians 11:8 I robbed other churches, taking wages from them to minister to you.

  19. Philippians 4:14-16 Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress. Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities.

  20. VI. What He Deserves From You • Your financial support • The taught are to communicate with him who teaches. • Not only individually, but also collectively • Evangelist should be willing to support self, if necessary.

  21. Acts 18:1-2 After these things Paul departed from Athens and went to Corinth. And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla (because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome); and he came to them.

  22. Acts 18:3-4 So, because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked; for by occupation they were tentmakers. And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

  23. Luke 10:7 “The laborer is worthy of his wages.” There is no greater work on earth.
