    General Body Meeting 1/16/14
  2. Spring Semester Breakdown Will be sent out in the email with the minutes and PowerPoint Attendance based on the amount of events available
  3. Meetings 8 meetings total You can miss 2 meetings if you contact Jenna or Sydney before the meeting. Alternate meeting time: Friday 3:15 at the SEL café If you attend alternate meeting time, your absence at the Thursday night meeting does not count. New Member Meetings March 20th – Introduction, Offices, Icebreakers. Anyone with an elected position is required to attend. April 3rd – Elections. Only executive officers are required to attend. April 10th – Elected position turnover. Anyone with an elected position is required to attend. Note: These meetings will be the same time as regular meetings.
  4. Dance February 28th. This is mandatory. Includes set up and tear down. Food pick-up Ticket sales Every member must sell 10 pre-sale tickets. Sign up to work the table at the Union. Ticket sales at the dance. Advertising Chalking team Flyers team Contacting other organizations Decoration making will take place during meetings January 30th meeting will be in Taylor Tower Lobby.

  6. Fundraising Schott cleanup At least two more. WE NEED EVERYONE! They will be scheduled within the next two weeks. Get an extra point for bringing a friend. Food fundraisers Bring receipts to meetings. Get an extra point for 5 friends’ receipts.
  7. Volunteering James Volunteering If you still need a position, contact Rohit. MMORE Gala volunteers, you should be receiving information from Laura Wieck shortly. If you changed your mind and want to volunteer at the gala, let me know ASAP and I can get you on the list. Possible future volunteering TBD.
  8. Selections Application Review Interviews – March 1st and 2nd Everyone needs to sign up for one time slot. Tapping – March 7th Minimum of 16 people Initiation – March 23rd (12-1) If you attend tapping, you are not required to attend initiation.
  9. Selections (continued) ______ /10 - Essay 1 (Evaluate the applicant’s motivations for applying to Mirrors. Would this person be able to contribute effectively to Mirrors? Does this person demonstrate an understanding that Mirrors has something to offer them? Do they have a desire, excitement and enthusiasm to be in Mirrors?) Example of how you will be asked to grade an application To those who asked to be involved in the application process, look at for an email from Ray and Stephanie about a separate meeting to go over applications more in depth. It’s not too late if you still want to help out with applications or interviews (March 1-2)
  10. Social Planning a retreat for the incoming class. Want a few members to attend Hopefully the weekend of April 5th Movie this weekend! Check Facebook for details!
