Lesson Plans on our Unit Site All but one lesson plan has been removed Please send sample lesson plans that have the new framework standards in them to Sandy to post We have evidence that people are visiting our site and discussing the lesson plans. That is all good, but now, more than ever, we need to have them updated.

  6. Mentor Teacher Eligibility Requirements • Qualified Mentors, in addition to working under an appropriate initial license for three years, must have received an evaluation rating of proficient or higher on the Educator Evaluation System, if implemented within the district. • Implemented for Fall 2013 • Verified by Principal on two forms • Mentor Teacher Supervising Practitioner Application • Authorization Form for Field Experience Placement

  7. University Supervisor Criteria 5a. QUALIFIED FACULTY TARGET Professional education faculty at the institution have earned doctorates or exceptional expertise, have contemporary professional experiences in school settings at the levels that they supervise, and are meaningfully engaged in related scholarship. Clinical faculty (higher education and school faculty) are licensed in the fields that they teach or supervise and are master teachers or well recognized for their competence in their field.

The Work AheadGoals for 2013-2014 • Better compliance with Tk20 • All SPA assessments need to go into Tk20 EACH semester—Program chairs and coordinators will identify faculty who will do this and then monitor compliance • Train adjuncts on Tk20 • Get Extended Campus Partners using Tk20 • Include adjunct and extended campus in examination of grad data • Work on calibration with all groups including mentor teachers • Provide opportunities for constituents to examine data

It has truly been a privilege to serve as your Dean. I thank you for giving me the opportunity. My heart is filled with deep gratitude and affection. You are in great hands for the future.
