This study investigates the impact of various depilation methods on skin irritation and hair growth. The objective is to determine which depilation product—wax strips or depilation cream—causes the least irritation while being most effective in delaying hair regrowth. We compare these methods against a control group using razor blades. Skin irritation and hair growth are the primary dependent variables monitored. The results will aid consumers in making informed choices about hair removal products, focusing on effectiveness and skin sensitivity.

Effects of certain products on the body • Objective: determine which type of product of depilation irritates less the skin and is more effective when it comes to hold back the hair. • VARIABLES: • Independent: type of product of depilation. • Dependent: hair growment and skin depilation. • Control group: depilating with Razor Blades. • Constant: Wax strip, depilation cream , same size of area, same part of the body fully removed.
Hypotheses • If the skin irritation and hair growth is related to the method of hair removal, then using band strips will mean a greater irritation of the skin, but will make the hair take longer to grow back.
