This study investigates the effects of mannan co-administration on symptom severity and weight loss in mice inoculated solely with a virus. A total of 27 mice were divided into groups based on weight change and survival, with daily evaluations of symptoms recorded on a scale from no weight loss to death within two weeks. The results indicate the potential role of mannan in modifying viral infection outcomes. Detailed analysis will aid in understanding its therapeutic implications in viral diseases.
