  5. LOTO • What group of employees is the RETC designing this program for?

  6. LOTO • Is the target group of employees capable of reading at 5-7 grade levels? • I.e.; Farmington newspaper is approximately grade 5. • USA Today is approximately grade 7.

  7. LOTO • Will all of the target group understand English or will the RETC need to conduct additional training in Spanish only classes?

  8. LOTO • How many minutes should the interactive program consume?

  9. LOTO • Identified teaching techniques. 1. All Lecture 2. All Discussion 3. Lecture / Discussion 4. Lecture / Discussion / Feedback / Hands On • The RETC will use Number 4 above.

  10. LOTO • Tell the class what subjects will be discussed. • Define and explain the subjects. • Tell them once again. • Hands on. • Test (If / or as required)

  13. LOTO Program can be presented, with your advice and consent, during the week or multiple times on Saturday with advance scheduling. Start time weekdays; 8 AM Start time Saturday 7 AM …….

  14. LOTO Cost of Program will be $17.50 per student for New Mexico residents and $22.50 for residents of states other than NM.

  15. LOTO • Completion Cards will be given and in addition a Hardhat sticker similar to the picture on the following slide.
