  2. PBIS Anchors Be Responsible Be Respectful Be a CHAMPion Forest Grove has adopted common class rules. This helps build common expectations across all grade levels. Our goal is that all students become CHAMPion citizens!

  3. Behavior System Each teacher has an individual and class behavior system. Forest Grove falcons recognize positive behavior by following PBIS anchors. If we need to communicate with you, please expect a note in the blue home folder or a phone call.

  4. This year, we’re using ClassDojo to build our classroom community We’ll build a positive culture where students are engaged, encouraged, and love learning! All parents are part of our classroom community, seeing what we’re learning every day.

  5. Please see your child's teacher for a code.

  6. Birthday Policies LCPS does not allow food treats for birthdays due to many food allergies among students. Birthday party invitations may only be distributed at school if there is one for all students in the class.

  7. Sneakers We have P.E. 2 days/week and outdoor recess everyday unless there is inclement weather. Your child needs to wear sneakers in order to be safe and able to participate.

  8. Reading Strategies Emergent Early

  9. HOMEWORK comes home each month with assignments for each day. It begins October 1st.  It will come home in a homework notebook. The homework will be one small assignment plus 20 minutes of reading each night. On the weekends, the homework is reading for 20 minutes each day. The homework notebook needs to be returned each Friday.  Homework Policy
